1. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. This sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all federal, state, and local laws.
2. SPONSOR: The sweepstakes is sponsored by Thoroughbred Golf Carts, located in Englewood, Florida.
3. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
4. HOW TO ENTER:
With Purchase: Receive one (1) entry for every $100 Ticket purchased.
Alternate Method of Entry (FREE): To enter without making a purchase, hand-print your full name, complete address, telephone number, and email address on a plain 3" x 5" card and mail it in a sealed, stamped envelope to: Thoroughbred Golf Carts, 3301 Placida Rd., Englewood, FL 34224. One mail-in entry per person. Each mail-in entry will be treated as one (1) entry and has the same odds of winning as a purchase-based entry.
5. PRIZE: One (1) Thoroughbred Custom Golf Cart (Fair Market Value: $11,995). The prize is awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied, outside of the manufacturer’s limited warranty.
6. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: The winner will be selected in a random drawing once all tickets have been sold. The winner will be notified by [phone/email] within five (5) days of the drawing. If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim the prize within 7 days, an alternate winner may be selected.
7. TAXES AND FEES: The winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, including income taxes. As the prize value exceeds $2,000, the Sponsor will issue an IRS Form W-2G to the winner. For prizes exceeding $5,000, the winner must provide payment for the required 24% federal income tax withholding to the Sponsor prior to delivery, or the prize will be forfeited. The winner is also responsible for all registration, title, and licensing fees at the DMV if applicable.
8. PUBLICITY RELEASE: Except where prohibited, participation in the sweepstakes constitutes the winner’s consent to the Sponsor’s use of the winner’s name, likeness, and hometown for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering, participants release Thoroughbred Golf Carts from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, from participation in the sweepstakes or use of the prize.
